Who we are

Reffie is operated by Reffie Technologies (“Reffie,” “we,” “us”), reachable at reffie.ai. We provide league management and referee coordination software for amateur sports organizations.

Information we collect

We collect names, email addresses, and account credentials when you or your organization sign up. In the course of operating the service we store game and schedule data (teams, venues, assigned officials, scores, notes). We store payment identifiers (customer IDs, subscription IDs, Connect account IDs) returned by Stripe; card numbers and bank account details are handled directly by Stripe and never touch our servers.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to deliver the service (scheduling, assignments, live scoring), to process payments and payouts through Stripe, to communicate with you about your account or the service, and to improve the product.

Third parties

We rely on the following subprocessors:

• Clerk — authentication and user identity.
• Stripe — payment processing (organization subscriptions via Stripe Recurring Payments) and referee payouts (via Stripe Connect).
• Microsoft Azure — application hosting and storage.
• Sentry — error tracking (to be enabled; not currently active).

Data retention

We retain account and league data for as long as your organization's account is active, and for a reasonable period thereafter to support audit, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. Specific retention periods will be detailed following counsel review.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law (including the GDPR and similar regimes), you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@reffie.ai.

Children's privacy

Amateur sports leagues often involve minors. Reffie does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without parental consent. League administrators who use Reffie are responsible for the collection and handling of player and participant data they enter, including any data relating to minors. If you believe a child has provided us personal information without appropriate consent, contact privacy@reffie.ai and we will take steps to delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify account administrators by email.
